VILLA BIZZARRI
VILLA DANTE
The historical Farm Villa Bizzarri, located in an old palace engraved in the stone in the old town centre of Torano Nuovo, in the province of Teramo, was founded in the 80’s and recently bought by Tenute Pieralisi Agricultural Holding in the early 2000’s, which now produces and sells Villa Bizzarri wines.
Villa Bizzarri wines embrace that particular marginal land between Marche and Abruzzo especially suitable to the viticulture, thanks to the thermoregulatory action of the see and to the breeze of the mountain that ensure the vineyards a healthy and continuous growing cycle.
The area of the Colline Teramane and of the southern Piceno claims a very important and successful production, with its ancient roots which have reached important successes in recent years. A positive imagine thanks to the new production philosophy and to the sensible increase of quality
The very high quality range of products includes four DOCG and two DOC wines:
Pecorino and Passerina, very typical grapes of this region, are two varietal white wines produced in the Offida DOCG, with limited yield of 10 tonnes/ha an alcohol level of at least 12%.
Two excellent Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC “Villa Dante” and “Girone dei Folli”.
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG “Colle Creta”
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG Riserva “Terra di Gechi”
